Workforce Transportation Pilot Project Updates

This page will provide Waupaca County employers with current information on the 2022 Workforce Innovation Grant for the Waupaca County Workforce Transportation Project. We began employee rides at the end of 2022. Between now and the end-of-the-year, WCEDC and its partners, will be getting in touch with Waupaca County employers.

Recent Activity

• As of March 7, 2024 over 8,300 completed rides have been provided to over 300 different employees in Waupaca County.

• Rides can be requested 24/7 through the Catch-a-ride App found here

• 9 Drivers and five vehicles are in operation to cover Waupaca County through Feonix Mobility Rising, including a wheelchair accessible van. We encourage existing transportation providers to work with us to expand the capacity of program.
